Jessa was looking for the perfect venue and found it in Monte Verde Inn, a 1930’s Georgian Manor Estate located in the Sierra Foothills near Foresthill, California. Robbie and Jessa wanted an outdoor garden setting, vintage inspired, with twinkle lights over the dance floor. She got all that and more! Table linens and chairs were crisp white (perfect against the stark white of the manor house and the lush green gardens) and the simple floral centerpieces were sweet and elegant using the color palette of shades of merlot/purples and accents of sunny yellow. We designed a focal Great Table for the bridal party and their dates, and created a merlot colored table runner using fabric and all the bouquets from the bridesmaids, plus more accent flowers. Vintage cut glass wine and water glasses were votive candle cups. A very fun display of whitewashed vintage window panes were used for the table assignments, as well as an old picture frame with the delicious dinner menu written on the glass. The wedding cake was a showstopper, so unique and the perfect shade of yellow. During the wedding ceremony, Jessa and Robbie participated in a sand ceremony which ended up being a lovely creation; a very nice keepsake for their home. And, finally, after dinner – there was dancing under those wished-for twinkle lights. Very romantic and very perfect.
Disclaimer… I have known Jessa since she was 8 years old and it was an honor to plan and be involved in her special wedding day!
