When Tori first came to me, she had many elements she wanted incorporated in her spring wedding. We needed to trim, but not by much. We worked with the theme color – black, hot pink and chartreuse green. We added in frog figurines (she collects) and because of Tori’s extreme love of sweets, a multi-tiered cupcake stand with several delicious flavors of cakes was included… along with a visually delightful candy station in the color palette. Awesome! But the most thought out theme was that of “hands.” Tori’s profession is as a sign language interpreter and in fact, several in the audience were deaf and so she had a signer present for the ceremony. We used cut-out handprints as escort cards (hot pink, of course) and set them in a bed of green wheatgrass. The candy bags were tied off with ribbon secured by a small hand tag. Every table was given a name displayed by using photographs of Tori’s daughter signing various words or phrases.  The Great Table was designed down the center of the room and was adorned with beautiful flowers and stunning candelabras. The signature flower for this May wedding was peonies – such a treasured flower! Theatrical lighting enhanced the mood and vibe to the Timber Creek Ballroom at Sun City Roseville.
