Fall Elegance
David Girard Vineyard was the setting for this Tuscan inspired hilltop wedding. The bride, a pastry chef, and the groom a wine aficionado, wanted to celebrate their love of food and wine.

After the vineyard ceremony, offerings of unique tasty hors d’oeuvres preceded a sumptuous seven course dinner at Sequoia Restaurant in Placerville, California, that featured wines paired with each course. The number of glasses was staggering! Hand painted menu cards and favor triangles were displayed on gold chargers. Rich wine colors were used throughout the décor with burgundy dahlias, hues of pink anemones, and cream hydrangeas. The cake showcased coordinating flowers, grapes, berries and small accenting fruits.
