Color of Purple

On a warm June afternoon and evening, Sami & Mike married in a beautiful wedding at Los Lagos in Granite Bay, CA. Mike’s mother had passed and he wanted to give homage to her and to her favorite color… purple. Thus our color scheme started - even for the custom made ring pillow (what a cute little guy!) Guests were shuttled to a lovely park and walked a pathway lined with flower heads and fluttering ribbons to reach the ceremony. And just before an uplifting Monarch butterfly release, Sami & Mike created a beautiful keepsake by performing the Sand Ceremony… I love the end creation!
Sami’s parent’s backyard held the dinner reception poolside and amongst the natural rock out-croppings that occur in the Granite Bay area. Give particular notice to the tree trunks and branches which were meticulously wrapped in lights by the groom. Way to go, Mike! Fabulous food stations, a beautiful wedding cake, enthusiastic dancing, and even a section in the gardens featuring a wonderfully appointed Port and cigar bar, made for a perfect event.
