Mediterranean
Our beautiful bride, Kimberly was of French ancestry, and her very handsome husband, Gilbert, was Lebanese, raised in Senegal. Many languages were spoken at the couple’s July wedding held at St. Francis Catholic Church with the reception following at The Julia Morgan House in Sacramento, CA. The Mediterranean feel was prevalent throughout. Chilled sugar grapes cooled the guests as they mingled on the patio of the historic mansion, and then an outstanding buffet was served that offered chicken, lamb, couscous, cheeses, figs and a variety of olives… to die for! And the wine flowed!! An innovative filigree design was chosen by the couple to be intertwined through their stationery suite, from the invitations, beverage napkins, menu cards, and even replicated onto the gorgeous intricately designed wedding cake. One of the best favors ever was a small bottle of Port that contained a recipe for a port-wine salad dressing. This couple was so sweet, so worldly and so beautiful together! |
