And Baby Makes 3!
It is such a pleasure to continue to work with my clients (see Shades of White). Chady & Sid contacted me 2 years after their wedding, to announce their pregnancy, and asked if I would plan a fabulous baby shower. What fun! We incorporated two events into the day held at their beautiful home. We started off with a ladies luncheon, opening presents, enjoying chair massages and playing unique party games (no ordinary games will do for this group!) Even munching on darling cupcakes. Colors of hot pink and purple and the theme of “Buddha” or “round bellies” was showcased throughout the décor. Baby Sophia’s ultrasound framed picture was passed around for all to gaze upon. Later in the evening the gentlemen arrived to join the ladies by feasting on a sumptuous dinner with grilled meats, fish and vegetables and sat at tables with huge fuchsia and hot pink orchid floral spheres. The men eagerly joined in on games, such as creating the likeness of a baby working with Play-doh. Tto continue the fun, we included a Sumo wrestling competition. Very funny! The most incredible dessert was offered… a delicious cake sculpted into the likeness of Buddha. What an art piece! |
