Site Inspection – Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast

A couple of weeks ago, a group of wedding planners went on our semi-annual overnighter excursion – for the purpose of “team building” which includes (among other things) site inspections. We’ve been to some awesome locations and this trip did not disappoint. The team is made up of: Yours truly, Kendra (Pfeiffer Event Planning), Catriona (Arcularius Events), Laurie (Laurie Schmalzel Events) and Michaela (Plush Weddings) – and Jackie (Every Little Detail) joined us for a portion of the evening.

Previously, Laurie and I have conducted a wedding workshop at Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful venue located in the foothills between Placerville and Coloma, CA, and we wanted to show off this property to the rest of our group.

Bella Vista is a charming and comfortable bed and breakfast, a truly lovely place to take your honey and have a great weekend experience. Can you just imagine sitting with a glass of wine and taking in this breathtaking view? The scenery surrounding Bella Vista is magnificant… and my sleeping room overlooked this valley (the town of Coloma is just down the road in the American River canyon.)

In addition, this beautiful estate is available for weddings! Capacity is approximately 100, with a number of ceremonial spots to choose from – in front of the fountain, within the gazebo, or on the sprawling lawn. A professional wedding planner is required when booking this location, and there are a number of wonderful local vendors and services that are available to select from when it comes to catering, rentals, music, florals, etc.

When booking Bella Vista, arrival is on Friday afternoon, with check-out being Sunday – two glorious days for relaxing, holding the rehearsal, and a catered dinner (if you wish), prepartions for the wedding and reception, and also a delicious breakfast each morning created by the fantastic owner, Kathleen. And don’t forget that view!

Then, when you have relaxed and enjoyed several glasses of wine… this is what can happen. Now look at us wedding planners! Did you ever…?
