Crimson red, chocolate brown, and autumnal florals were the foundation for the dramatic and stylish wedding of Katie and Nick held at the Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento.  The “First Look” on the Penthouse balcony was so sweet… Katie never stopped smiling. The candlelit wedding ceremony took place in the downstairs Plaza Ballroom which incorporated a symbolic wine ceremony. Dinner and dancing was held in the theatrically lit 7th floor Metropolitan Terrace where tables were adorned with candles and rich florals in shades of orange, yellows, reds and greens along with twigs and pods. Katie’s mom hand-made and wrapped individual chocolate double-dipped Oreo cookies for favors – so good!  Incorporating an ancestral heritage table is a nice honor to those family members who provide a solid foundation to the newlyweds by way of example for a good marriage.  The “guestbook” were autumn leaves for the guests to write their well wishes. Being a light-hearted couple, we had fun with the Grand Entrance – each member of their bridal party welcomed them into the Terrace by using a multi-colored trigger-actioned ”bubble gun”
