Stacey and Joe were the absolute BEST couple. I loved them! Both theatre stage actors who travel quite a bit, all wedding planning was done long distance. They held their wedding ceremony in Sacramento, CA, in the beautiful historic ballroom of the Crocker Mansion, home of E.B. Crocker, one of The Big Four for the Central Pacific Railroad and the building of the transcontinental railroad. Prior to the wedding ceremony, Stacy and Joe along with their MOH and BM, enjoyed taking photos within the halls and galleries of the brand new, very modern, addition of the Crocker Art Museum. A fun time! Guests then went to the nearby 1852 era Courtyard of The Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento for the dinner and dance party. The linens on the tables in the shaded courtyard were in a “neutral” gray with soft burlap runners. Florals were green and ivory in eclectic mixtures of varying size vases, fun succulents along with roses, and a little glitz was added in amongst natural elements. The beautiful greeting table and then the fabulous escort card table were showstoppers. The use of candles, moss, rocks, unique wooded boxes of all sizes, a cute sign Stacey’s sister found, and beautiful stacked glassware were artfully arranged. I loved how we displayed the wedding CAKES… different flavors, different styles and displayed on different cake pedestals. The two layer cake was for the newlyweds to cut and feed each other.
