A Casual Summer Affair

One of the most laid back couples I’ve ever met – Sarah & Zac wanted their wedding and reception to also be laid back. Not structured but instead casual games (cornhole, croquet, board games) leisurely dining, strolling, legs dangling in the pool, and great conversation. The Inn at Park Winters was the perfect venue for this summer wedding… lush gardens, pathways to meander, vintage barn and even a hammock. The only glitch was the weather – a hot 108 degrees!! But look at these pictures; everybody looks calm, cool and collected! The bridesmaids wore different “blush” colored dresses, and the fellas look snappy in their bowties and vests.  This couple created the fan wedding programs and table number signs with different beer tabs identifying the table. Loved the multi colored/patterned cloth pennants for the ceremony arbor; guests later wrote their sentiments on the pennants as a guestbook. The Royal head table (vintage harvest table) was dressed with a simple burlap runner, and the soft color palette of yellows, creams, grays and little succulents was perfect against the backdrop of this majestic white Victorian farmhouse. Centerpieces were varying shapes and sizes of vases (some white, some gilded gold) mixed with candles. And because Sarah and Zac like donuts… you got it, rather than wedding cake – a donut display, which was a huge hit. Yummm-o!
